With the fast-paced life, we eat so much junk and too much aerated. Once in a few days, our body craves for detox which is pocket-friendly and not too much work. Having these detox drinks just twice a week can improve your health tremendously.
Read along to find such 10 juices that you can make at home without many fancy items.
1. Cocoa Banana Shake.
1 1/2 frozen bananas,
1 fresh banana,
1 cup soy, almond milk or oat milk,
1/4 – 1/2 tsp. cinnamon,
1 heaping Tbsp. almond butter,
optional: 1/4 cup ice or frozen watermelon cubes,
optional: 1 scoop vanilla protein powder,
Add all ingredients to a superfast blender and blend away.
It’s delicious, and bananas have a variety of health benefits with making digestion smooth and taking care of acidity.
2. Orange Juice.
1 Small Yellow Beet
Combine all, and blend well. Add some ice cubes.
It’s refreshing and increases your vitamin C intake.
3. Aam Panna.
2 raw mangoes,
1 tsp Sugar/honey,
Roast the raw mangoes, remove the seed-scrape the pulp around it with a spoon and then blend it with sugar/honey and couple ginger pieces.
Add some ice cubes.
It helps avoid heat strokes and is rich in Vitamin C.
4. Khus Juice.
Khus syrup or raw khus (yield it into a syrup)
Raw, unrefined sugar
Dissolve 1/4 or 1/3 khus syrup in water and add some sugar, that’s all.
It has cooling properties, purifies blood and cures vomiting and diarrhoea.
5. Chass or Neer Moru.
1 cup yogurt,
Water as required,
1 teaspoon chopped ginger,
1 green chilli,
Few curry leaves,
2 teaspoons of chopped coriander leaves,
Salt as required.
Blend yogurt, ginger, curry leaves and chilli in a blender. Then add some water and blend again. Floating butter on the top tastes right. Serve it with chopped coriander leaves on the top.
It is a cooling drink and acts as a helping component in digestion.
6. Nannari Syrup also called Indian Sarasaberilla.
Mix this to make the syrup.
Add 3-4 tablespoons of nanari syrup.
To water, some lemon juice and ice.
It is cooling for body and cures urinary infections.
7. Watermelon Mint.
Watermelon peeled, deseeded and cut into cubes,
Few pudina leaves,
Black salt as required,
Blend pudina leaves and watermelon, add salt to taste and finish it with ice cubes and chat masala.
Watermelon is a good source of vitamin C, and Mint leaves help in digestion. Both are extremely cooling ingredients.
8. Banana Shake.
2 cups thin coconut milk,
3 medium size peeled bananas,
sugar or jaggery,
1-2 pinch of vanilla powder or 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract,
1/4 teaspoon cardamom or cinnamon powder for garnishing.
Blend all ingredients and serve it garnished with cardamom or cinnamon powder
It is excellent for people with lactose intolerance, and it is lighter to digest and healthy.
9. Peachy Green Protein Shake.
2 scoops protein shake in vanilla,
1 cup unsweetened almond milk,
1 cup frozen peaches,
1/2 cup frozen pineapple,
2 cups kale,
1 tablespoon ground flaxseed,
Blend everything together.
It is a great breakfast substitute and can give you enough fiber and heart-healthy omega fatty acids.
10. Pineapple Smoothie.
1 cup low-fat or light vanilla yogurt,
6 ice cubes,
1 cup pineapple chunks,
Blend ice cubes and vanilla yogurt until smooth and then add pineapple chunks and blend at whip speed.
It a great replacement for ice cream cravings and has a lot of nutritious value.
