These Natural Ingredients Can Make Your Skin Clean, Clear & Glowy.

While there are plenty of wonderful products to help keep our skin clean, clear and glowy, there’s something to be said for the power of Mother Nature. From improving your skin’s texture to preventing acne and beyond, there are plenty of reasons to incorporate process-free, natural elements into your skincare regimen.

Coffee

Your morning cup does more than giving you a much-needed energy boost: When combined with almond oil, and applied as a paste during a massage, ground coffee beans can tone and tighten skin, reducing the appearance of cellulite. Plus, the antioxidants in coffee help to release toxins from the skin, which is not only helpful for cellulite but also gives you a healthy glow from head to toe. Ground coffee can also help remove product build-up from your hair, as well as add shine. If you have dark hair, try rubbing some leftover grounds into wet strands and then rinsing.

Yogurt

Yogurt or curd like we call it is another miracle worker hiding away in some corner in our homes! This is called a miracle worker for it all is capable of moisturizing, fighting acne, reducing discoloration, preventing premature aging and providing relief from sun burns! Yup all of that in one!

Honey

It is pretty much the saviour for your skin. Honey acts as a natural antiseptic and anti-fungal, and it’s also fantastic humectants, which preserves the moisture in the skin. Try dabbing a bit over broken facial acne to speed the repair process.

Coconut Oil

One of the most versatile skin (and food) ingredients is coconut oil. Use coconut oil on both your skin and hair to help cleanse, moisturize, remove makeup, heal wounds or scars quicker, and prevent razor burn. Coconut oil used internally is also beneficial for your looks. It contains antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, plus loads-of healthy fats that help nourish your gut and increase immune function.

Sea Salt

Sea salt comes loaded with tons of minerals and nutrients like magnesium, calcium, sodium and potassium that it absorbs from the sea water where it’s produced. Many of these minerals are the same ones found in our skin cells and within our bodies, which is exactly why real sea salt can help balance, protect and restore the skin. Use real Himalayan or Celtic sea salts in homemade facial masks, toners and scrubs with other skin-boosting ingredients like coconut oil, lavender essential oil and raw honey. The salt contains anti-inflammatory properties to soothe skin and calm breakouts, remove dead skin cells and irritation, balance oil production, and help the skin retain moisture levels.

Gram flour

Gram flour has been traditionally used in beauty care, mainly to deep cleanse and exfoliate the skin. It can be added to face packs to remove tan and to cleanse and tighten the skin. Mix it with yogurt, lemon juice and a pinch of turmeric or mix ground almonds with gram flour, milk and lemon juice. Apply it on the face and wash off after 20 to 30 minutes. It helps to remove tan and

lighten skin colour.

Aloe Vera

Most people associate aloe-vera benefits with healing sunburns, but did you know that aloe also contains bacteria-fighting, soothing ingredients that fight inflammation, redness and itching? For hundreds of years aloe has been used to treat skin diseases, infections and as a natural

treatment for fungal diseases. Recent research results suggest that aloe vera is effective for burns and wound healing, but surprisingly it also detoxifies you from the inside out. This natural plant is a genius solution for dark circles, as it is loaded with Vitamin E and C. Apply raw gel on the dark circles and the eyelid area overnight. Try to follow this ritual on a regular basis for best results.

So open your kitchen cabinets as that’s where the real beauty secrets are hidden!
